In return for providing you with the peace of mind that comes with a complete solution from brief through to delivery, we add a mark-up to all production items purchased on your behalf. This margin covers:
o Researching and recommending alternative materials
o Researching, quality checking and approving suppliers
o Specifying production requirements
o Securing competitive quotes from at least 3 suppliers
o Raising purchase orders and delivery notes
o Supplying designers proof with artwork to supplier
o Receiving and checking printers proofs
o Advising suppliers of errors and/or omissions
o Monitoring supplier for delivery to specified date
o Checking goods for satisfactory quality
o Checking suppliers invoice against purchase order
o Assuming quality control and payment risk
