Most of us are content to live within our comfort zones, to do things the way we always have and sail along merrily in neutral without engaging our brains.
By interrupting your routine and forcing your brain to think about what you’re doing, not only will you be able to explore new ways of doing things but it will exercise your brain too.
So why not try regularly changing your outlook at work, by putting some new pictures on the wall, moving the position of your desk, keeping your glasses or keys somewhere different or dialing the numbers on your phone with your non-dominant hand.
